It comes with 1 free software for any manufacturer you select with free life time updates (I think) and free generic reader. All others have to be purchased ($20 per year I think)
edit: I see it was posted already. I can't see anything on my phone....
Do you own one? Interesting looking device - it appears to be using a USB dongle and PC based software? Looking at the function charts (I just looked at the '09 Boxster, '06 Cayenne and '11 Cayenne) it has some programming capabilities which makes it interesting. Cost is around $500? I didn't see the software update policy - are updates free for life?
This one does look interesting. Looks like the same sort of capabilities as the Launch iCarScan X431 (but the iCarScan comes with 5 manufacturers included and updates for 2 year.) Problem with the iCarScan is very spotty factory support - I can't log into their system with an Android 10 based phone, and other people report the same issue. I can login with an old Android 7 phone. Reporting this to the vendor via their Facebook ID got no response from them.

I ordered one. If it's junk, it's only $60. I'll report back when I have it . The Cayenne is the only vehicle I currently own where I seem to need a more advanced scanner. My other basic code reader I have works on my 996TT and most other vehicles I owned but all of those allowed you to reset service through the dash with some "hidden" functionality.

Yes I own one, bought after I was not impressed with Durametric. Software updates are free.
Arrived last night. Seems like it does everything as advertised. I was able to add the Porsche brand for free; I'm not sure if that means I can use it on all Porsches for free or if it will only work on one VIN?! In any case, worked on the GTS and read every module possible it seems like.

Hey old friends. I had the same issues with getting android to work. They sent me the attached QR code to download the right ez diag software. They also told me that the new icarscan software only works with the newer dongles. Good luck

Worked! Thanks much! For anyone trying to install it - uninstall any earlier version of EZDiag before trying to install this version. The install will fail if an earlier one is installed. You'll also need your username/password to open it. Happy-Dance It also seemed to download all the latest versions of the manufacturer software. Good thing!

Are you sure about it downloading the latest? Mine shows version 21.80 but latest is 23.82.
