Hi Everyone,
i hava a 2015 Porsche Cayenne diesel i want to upgrade standard speakers to burmester I placed an order burmester subwoofer but i have couple of questions if someone else can help me please
do i need burmester amp ( i have currently standard not bose ) for burmester speakers and subwoofer?
and is it will fit my car?

Chances are very unlikely this will be a plug and play installation. The wiring is different between the standard and the Bose and the Burmester. The wiring simply isn't there for the subwoofer amp, and it isn't available as a "part" since it's part of the main wiring harnesses.

Most euro cars build to order - and that includes the wiring used in the car. If the car wasn't ordered with an option, the wiring needed for that option isn't included.

You may want to cancel the Burmester order and talk to a custom auto-audio shop about adding a subwoofer to the existing system.

I have my doubts if this is possible, the Bose and Burmester use fiber-optics instead of traditional copper wires....

you "might" be able to swap your front tweeters
this worked on my 14 CD with Bose
