That is why they are called Stealerships. Some good ones out there...but two of the three i have dealt with are thieves.

All depends on the dealership. At my Acura dealer, they were insisting on an immediate change of front transfer case oil of the AWD. My car was FWD.

That was $275 extra because one of the thingamajigs had to replaced at the same time.

Also, let's not give Porsche any more ideas!

When I was first married, I had an indy shop tell me the transfer case in my 94 Cherokee Sport needed a flush and fill.
Since I live in Detroit, I suppose he didn't really have any idea it was a 2WD drive Jeep purchased in the Orlando area.
I did, however, loudly point that out to him in the packed lobby.
