Intetesting.... how much did this run and do you have prep steps? Did you just use the rattle can or a spray?

Mine has a few scratches that were aquired in random parking lots that bother me like hell.

It can be DIYed for sure but with the sprayer, DON'T USE CANS.

Ours has a bumper to bumper wrap in Xpel. They covered every surface capable of being covered including the black door trim.
I didn't do the matte look, as I can't wrap my mind around a dull looking car. I love that I don't have to wash it so religiously or ever
spend any time waxing and buffing it. A little hot water gets rid of any scratches. Did my wife's M4 too. Great stuff. Zero road rash.

I used a sprayer.

Earlier in 2015, I bought an ATV kit from DYC and did my motorcycle as a test. That whole kit, including all the prep materials cost ~$450.

I did the car in Dec the same year. Since I had the sprayer and prep stuff already, I really only needed the dip + some dip release and, which IIRC was about $550 for everything, incl the rolls of 4 mil I used to tent the inside of my garage. I did 7 coats.

took me 2 days to prep, and 2 days to dip. The experience doing the bike saved me a ton of time though (little things), and got me used to doing it. The cost savings are why I sprayed it instead of wrapping.
