To be honest PDCC and PTV scare me in terms of long term repair costs? On the plus side PCCB which seem to be forever rotors and no dust.
PDCC’s generally a safe bet as long as the 60k maintenance is adhered to (new reservoir and fluid). As for the PTV+, there have been a few here in the forum that claim a few more rear differential issues with the e-diff that’s part of that option, but not too many from what I recall. You can run a search here and see what you come up with. My 2011 had PTV+ and was fine....now of course the transfer case(s) was another story!
Wow... I wish I knew that when I was looking for mine. Found a nice example of a CTT in Knoxville, TN. Loaded, clean, extremely well maintained and a new transfer case recently. https://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto...219541888.html
The owner if this car is actually a member here. Here is his listing on rennlist.com
Very cool - that car is a perfect and I may yet buy it based on the PPI for the 2014. I just called Loeber Motors and they no longer do PPIs...so off to MPC Northbrook it goes. I have always loved carrera red leather....

Same here...that's the only option (aside from PCCB) that I wished I have in my Cayenne. It is perfect interior color for me
PPI came back clean - just a few minor things. MPC said it drives great, zero leaks, and a fabspeed muffler that I didn't know about. My concern is no docs on the 60k service so the dealer is doing everything - driveline fluids, PDCC reservoir and fluids, plugs and oil change ~ $2k at MPC. It also has clear bra on the front.
Get the dealer to do the coil packs when they do the plugs. Every once in a while the aluminum bolts that hold the coil packs down snap off, and they're a real pain to deal with. Don't ask me how I know. Anyhow, coil packs tend to crack after a while (all 8 of mine were cracked). If they're doing plugs it's no more labor to replace the coil packs, so while they're in there, they might as well replace them. Looks like a spicy unit you've got there... congrats!

Changing the spark plugs requires removing the coil packs (which sit on top of each spark plug). That requires removing and replacing these ignition coil bolts, but since the dealer is doing that they should include 8 new bolts.
The CTTS arrived and overall it is awesome. One question is the lack of sport chrono package - from the literature at the time I thought it was standard on the S? Is there a way to see what the standard options are?
