Chassis System Failure
Front Passenger strut exploded and the car dropped. Replaced both front struts, drove around then got error codes:
000220 Vent Solenoid valve, ON time exceeded
000310 Venting not possible
Found in one of the threads here that someone replaced valve block and compressor and it solved the problem.
so I replaced the compressor since the valve block was replaced recently by the previous owner. Im still getting the same errors.
It’s intermittent, I park the car, turn it off and after around 5 mins, when I start the car the error is gone, but it returns after driving a random amount of kilometers.
When there is no error, everything is working perfectly. No leak as well, as the car does not drop overnight.
I live in the Philippines so it has nothing to do with the cold.
by this time, parts that have been replaced are:
Valve Block
4 airbag struts
Air compressor
I was thinking maybe it might be a faulty compressor relay, so I replaced it with a very cheap one with the same rating 12V 40A for the mean time just to check. I thought it solved the problem as I have driven for 10km with no errors as it usually only takes 1-2km before the error pops up. But still the error pops up.
Anyone have experienced this problem? I will order a new bosch relay in the mean time.

1. Did you prefil the air-springs before installation? (Nitrogen preferred).. expecting the compressor to lift up all 4 corners at the same time could certainly lead to compressor overload.
2. Did you do a calibration of the height after installation?
3. Was it determined why the one strut's airbag exploded? That's really an unusual failure mode - can't say I've ever heard of it before. If the valve block were faulty the two error codes you're retrieved could indicate a badly overpressurized air-bg and a bad valve block.
1.) The air springs were already prefilled when it arrived. Not sure if it was filled with nitrogen though. I bought the whole strut assembly with the airbags already installed.
2.) The height was calibrated after install
it exploded because when the previous owner changed the passenger struts, they only changed the air bag, and the whole strut assembly was installed back incorrectly. Something about the top screw not installed the right away, so the car actually had a slight suspension noise on the passenger side as a result. When I replaced it, the noise was gone. So it was either that or the airbag was not installed properly as well.
the whole problem started after the exploded airbag, and the car suddenly dropped. It actually broke the level sensor bracket so I had that replaced as well. Is it possible that the new valve block was damaged as well because of the explosion and sudden drop?

Did you install the new valve block, or did the previous owner? If the previous owner you already have some indication of his mechanical ability (or his mechanic's) - and I'd be suspicious of any parts he replaced.
I will double check with the mechanic regarding it being prefilled.
The new valve block was installed by the previous owner. He gave me the old valve block and I noticed that the 6 brass (or copper?) fittings was removed. Probably transferred to the new one. When I look for new valves, it looks like the fittings are already included.
Actually this error only happened when the airbag exploded and I changed both front struts. I was able to drive the car for 3 days prior and there was no error.
I am having the mechanic double check for leaks. Will replace the relay first then probably will replace the valve block.

Checked the live data reading and saw that one of the struts is displaying very high pressure. No problems with the struts so we thought it must be the pressure sensor which was located in the valve block.
