but I do not have a Launch X431 V+, perhaps someone has one in the San Diego / Orange County, California area that would not mind doing this?
I am a member of PCA & was hoping to meet a few folks at an event where this would be like sure... but of course everything is canceled so... here I am

I would like some coding done as well and don’t mind paying/bringing a 24pack.

Sounds like a solid deal if I was in Cali. Stop this Corona nonsense and help these guys out. Only Corona that should come in play is the beer.

bringing adult beverages would be a given, I'll order something tasty via Uber Eats (yes I cook but thats only if you are really special in my world)

whats my alternative?
$850 approx to get my own real coding machine?
sigh... I have lived with my rear trunk open/shut noise this long but its gotta go.

serious question, I have seen the list of successful code modes, for those that have coded their Cayenne... what was your first change?

Check out Vollig Autowerks in the Miramar area of SD...they can update coding and are a great shop for Porsche work. I doubt they'd charge much, maybe 1 hour of labor at most...

Why not just locate the "beeper" and pull the connector from it?

Mine wasn't making noise and I was used to having noise. Plus I drive to parking, then take bus to work. At 6am I'm driving on auto pilot and dont know if car locks if it doesn't make a feedback sound. So, was a must for me.

I have a Launch and a fondness for beer. I'm in Los Angeles if you make it up this far.
