Default PCM rebooting every 2mins 2015 CS

So my pcm is restarting every two minutes now on my 2015CS. Anyone experience this? I have 6 months left of CPO warranty, so will let the dealer know, tomorrow, if it keeps it up after sitting tonight.

Can't believe this thread popped up. The PCM on my '15 CTT started rebooting every couple of minutes also - just started doing it earlier today. I figured turning the car off for a while and starting back up later in the day might solve that problem - but nope. And I'm out of warranty. Let me know what you find out.

Wow, my 2015 CD started doing this, this evening as well. I wonder if it's a bug in the software/firmware?

Default PCM rebooting every 2’ Cayenne Turbo 2012

Mine also started rebooting today, every 2’ to be exact. So far I tried taking out and putting back in the fuse so it can reset but no luck. Seems that it may be a SiriusXM update or a cell service update that kicks off the PCM. There are several threads about exactly the same behavior back in 2015 and Porsche came with an update for the PCM and it was fixed. I’ll keep playin with it and post any updates.

Tried turning the PCM off using (pushing) the left volume control, unit goes off, but reboots without pressing the button after a few minutes.

Not 100% sure but the problem is in the hard drive on the system. Hard drive is a old school don’t now the model but is the one whit small disks inside which stop contact and the system restarts. Solution is to take of the hard drive and copy all info to new generation hard drive. Should be done BEFORE the system stop working , the data of the hard will be lost.

Well, I feel better knowing it's happening to many PCM's at the same time and not just mine, must be due to a sirius update or a date format thing (5/20/20?). I'll have my wife see if it's still happening today.

Wow! Same thing started happening to me yesterday, May 20, 2020, in my 2013 Cayenne Turbo. Unfortunately I’m out of warranty so hopefully this problem is widespread enough to be fixed with some kind of reversal of whatever happened yesterday to cause this for so many people.

This morning started the car and see an error message “Battery protection active while parked”. Never saw that before. Not sure if it’s related.

Driving this morning and the PCM resets every 2 minutes. So far it has reset 10 times . . .

I hope there’s an answer to this.

I'm glad I looked before calling the dealer. Mine started last night and continued this morning. Not much fun.

I would think if it was Sirius it would be happening in other vehicles. I'll do some searching.

I just spent the last 20 minutes searching the interwebs for this issue. No joy.

Yep...add me to the list. Every few minutes yesterday and today.

Guessing this is a Sirius issue or Iphone issue of a recent update for everything to be happening at once to everyone.

Can everyone confirm iphone? Or whether they have Sirius Radio?

I have both....
