Agreed. Our 30 lb cavachon wears a harness, sits in a doggy car seat and is latched directly to a rear seat latch (not the belt).

it restricts rear visibility and really has no purpose. I am pretty sure it is only there for some sort of safety rating thing.
A related mod is to pick up a second middle headrest, and replace the two outer headrests with middle headrests. Provides even more rearward visibility.

Now that sounds like a good plan. Anyone have an "Agate Grey" taking up unwanted space that they would like to donate?

While I'm begging, how about a cargo cover in nice shape, in the same Agate Grey, or dark brown or even black?

Same

Porsche dismantlers are suddenly overwhelmed with middle headrest requests.

Just as a heads up Porsche has changed what is included in 955-551-504-00 and it does not include the telescoping bar. I retrofitted the cargo management into my car a few months ago and ordered that kit from my local dealer and it didn't include the rigid bar. I was really surprised since some people said they got it and the price seems to reflect it is included. The price break down on the kit was the parts add up to $213.48 (Flexible strap (958-551-378-10) $122.32 x1, Retaining end piece (955-551-539-00) $22.79 x4 and the bag). With the price of the kit at $502, the bag cost $288.52. The dealer allowed me to return the kit and I ended up ordering in the individual items off eBay over the following month for about $300.
