Arrow Cargo Management System install / mod - Cayenne 958

Picked up parts to install the OEM Porsche Cargo Management System & installed it in my Cayenne 958 last week.
I am pretty happy with the results & thought I would share.

parts
958551556019Q8 = qty (1) retaining strip right
958551555019Q8 = qty (1) retaining strip left
N90850202 = qty (4) M8 x 20mm retaining bolts (triple-square screw)
95555150400 = bag loadspace system - four cargo anchors, one retractable divider, and a durable, fitted carrying bag. (you will just store this with all your other parts, its not really useful for anything)

tools used
Torx 25 - to remove the original cargo
flathead driver - (thin) to remove the original rail (middle clips)
Torx 50 - to install the 4 new bolts

considering adding these parts

* 958-551-769-00-DC5 = Mat - Porsche
* 95504400203 = rear Luggage Net Set (floor & one side net)
---- I believe the VW version (p/n 1KM065110A) is only the floor net (missing the side net) & the hooks are only one side + the P tax)

thoughts
* really on the fence on buying / using the OEM mat (958-551-769-00-DC5), anywhere I look its over $200+
* the bar is really useful for grocery bags or just gym bags in general
* have not used the retracting strap yet but believe it might be nice for small / medium size boxes
* I picked up the VW net for $15, paying $85+ for the Porsche OEM net / side net does not seem to really add value (unless I am missing something?)

please forgive my dirty bumper, I have some hard water & still need to install a filter system for my garage hose

finish w/ cargo management system installed

with system

laying out the parts

right rail removed, four screws per side with a TORX Driver Bit - T25. Be careful, there is a middle tab still holding on the original part

right rail installed with a TORX drive bit T50

system installed. thats the fancy bag part of the system came in

#14 & 15 are some of the parts

OEM floor mat you use with cargo management system

I guess I don't really get the practical use of this?

I couldn't drive without it installed. Everything was all over the place. This keeps everything "locked"

I put grocery bags behind the bar and lock it into place & put boxes in the wrap system vs everything just sliding around.
hope these pictures / p/n's help someone else.

I am all in for modding / adding on things to my Cayenne & always moving around boxes & such.
clearly not for everyone but the used parts price was right & I like it / have use for it, which is all that matters.

thanks - yes for groceries or anything that could roll/slide it does make sense - a little more free to get on the gas a little harder too!

Question. Does the 95555150400 = bag loadspace system include both the retractable fabric AND the metal bar? Looking at the part number and description, it says it does but I can’t tell if it does or not? I already have the rails for the CMS but none of the additional stuff to utilize the system. I purchased mine pre owned so the previous owner may have taken the parts out. Thx!

not sure you are in the right place if you are looking for cheap
i think this option was $600 USD? as an option if purchased with a new Cayenne

if my memory was correct, i picked up the system used for $280 USD (which I think was a pretty good deal)
& saved on shipping by driving a hour (2 hours round trip) to pick it up. It was my first good drive in my new to me CD, so I did not mind.

i used the strap system the other day to secure a 30 pack in the cargo area. the two pillar strap system can fit in the wheel well if you like it out the way but i just leave it attached on the side

the biggest issue i face right now is I need a smaller brush attachment for my vacuum system to just get quickly / easily into the cargo rail areas. (I live next to the beach, so sand happens). I am sure its it will be like a $15-$20 vacuum attachment....

Someone recently had this whole set on eBay for less than $300, and I posted it here so someone had a chance to grab it... When I did this install, I has to source all the used parts separately, and it took some time, but definitely worth it.

I ended up buying that one. It s under 300 but that price was in British Pounds. With exchange rate and shipping I ended up paying something like $360 or so. Not bad at all considering new options usually run between 700 and 800 from what I've seen

very nice write up... I installed this in mine some time ago and have found it quite useful for keeping the "stuff" in the back in place...

Very nice. I had considered that system for my 958, but in the end I just purchased the OEM reversible cargo mat which retains access to the floor anchors, and the OEM cargo net. Kept everything in place perfectly for the stuff I typically carry (groceries, etc.).

I could see where the cargo mgmt sys would probably work better for securing larger cargo though.
