Default What coolant do you use?

Seem to need a topoff while I investigate potential losses. I don't see any specifics at all in the OM.

Thanks!

What @Quadcammer said, probably up to a L or so... After that, get some Porsche coolant, or the Zerex pink (G40) which is probably about half the price. Both of those are full-strength, so it will need to be diluted with distilled water again before you add it.

I'm not able to see anything leaking up front. Water pump, glued pipes, hoses, etc.

2011 S - is this mystery crossover pipe something I'm needing to get eyes on? Or is that turbo only?

Not sure where to look aside from firewall area - rear engine right?

Take a pic of your engine bay and pos it up. It's probably your water pump weep hole. You won't notice it for a while unless you look for dried white stuff in your bay

Yeah, I think I looked at Pelican Parts a few days ago, and it's like $80, so the price at ECS is definitely fair... Heck, I bought that probably a year ago when I first started having issues, and I still haven't even used any....

so I opened up my coolant, none needed. looked nice & pink. So I buttoned that sucker back up.

if you do not have any issues...
when is the "recommended" (& if different, current real world estimated) scheduled coolant flush?
(& if known, how much is in there?)

Quick Reply: What coolant do you use?
