does anyone know what are the OEM part #'s included in this set?
Running Board Set The running boards with integrated skid plates protect the side member in off-road driving situations and offer greater comfort when getting into the vehicle and when loading the roof transport system.
Fits all 2011-2018 Cayenne models. Not compatible with the Aerokit or GTS. Oversize packaging. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/958RBS.html
pretty sure I have figured out my Thule roof rack system but to really make it functional it also needs some running boards.
(some running boards really would make it easier to clean, wax & polish the roof!
does anyone have the OEM Running board Set version installed? thoughts?
has anyone done an aftermarket set?
I've got aftermarket clones of these. They're fairly narrow, but get the job done. I bought mine off amazon but I don't see them anymore - try ebay. They're about 300$

looks like a few options on Amazon. Has anyone installed these?
A word of warning. I bought a set off eBay that were “stainless steel” that rusted in a year. I contacted the seller who said something to the effect that I shouldn’t subject them to caustic liquids. You know, like water. I bought another set that were “aluminum” that are now rusting a year later. Buy genuine not the eBay crap.

OEM's parts as a kit are listed as $1,650.

It’s a DIY. There are guides online. I’m dealing with my rusty “aluminum” set for now. When I can’t stand it anymore I will get OEM. You can find them on discount at Sunset. The shipping is obviously prohibitive but my local dealer has agreed to price match.
I like the OEM ones, the Amazon options listed go from not bad looking but terrible reviews to the more expensive and quite ugly (in my option) model with no reviews. Keep those options coming as I already found that trying to clean the sunroof while standing on the slippery door sills is not fun! And I bought the Thule setup and have a ski box - so running boards that worked would be great. But not $1600 great!

Anyone ever installed a set of Romik’s? Curious if these are a direct bolt on or if there’s more involved? TIA.
it states mounting brackets & hardware included. It might be a fun DIY project.
I am thinking the Finish: Black Powder Coat might be more durable in the long run. I do not get salt on my roads but do live near the ocean.
