Default 2014 CD TPMS Problem

I recently removed all 4 wheels, cleaned them, removed the weights, and took them to a local independent tire shop for new Pirellis. After the new tires were mounted and balanced I randomly installed the wheels back on the CD. I didn't keep track of the original locations as I had rotated the tires a while back and the TPMS automatically relearned after a short drive. This time however it hasn't relearned 3 days later and my wife has been driving it every day. On start-up I'm getting a "Tire Change?" message and none of the tire pressures are displayed. The TPMS icon is also displayed. Is there something I need to do on the dashboard display to trigger the relearn process? The tire shop is well established and highly regarded, so I'd like to think that they didn't damage a sensor(s). As I understand it, they don't even touch the sensors, just work around them. I'm going to reach out to them as well to see if they have a TPMS tool that can read the status of each sensor.

As it turns out, you need to select the tire size and type (even though unchanged) to trigger the learning process. I did this stopped in the driveway and after driving about 2 blocks all four pressures showed up correctly. I have to give props to the service advisor at Porsche Waukesha for providing me with that information, it wasn't obvious reading the manual.

FWIW,, if those are original sensors, your very very likely close to the end of the battery life (~5 years), so next time you take them off,, I'd buy batteries.
FWIW Discount tire stores often stock the rebuild kits.. And fairly cheap.

I've got this same problem. TPMS had been working fine. I simply rotated the tires to different positions and adjusted pressures using handheld gauge. Now I can't clear the "Tire Change?" message. I've tried the "Adjust" menu and selected arbitrary sizes and ran for a while. I do not get the "Learning" message...ever. Thoughts? Is there another menu other than "Adjust" that I'm unaware of?

I think I solved this. I dropped the air pressure on each tire down to 30 PSI and refilled to the door sticker pressures. When I restarted the car the display went into "relearning" mode then shortly after showed the pressures. Today I got the "Tire Change?" message again but didn't stop long enough to adjust the settings.
