This way from CHILE, effectively went through that, Porsche Germany did NOT respond.
I had to repair in an alternative garage paying EVERYTHING.
The dealer in Chile wanted to charge all the repair and only give me a discount at the end. They only checked after being repaired, by instruction from Germany.
Although the failure is internationally recognized.

Dear Mr. Pottstock,
Thank you for your latest e-mail from 19 January 2020 to Porsche Consulting GmbH, which has been, as the responsible department for customer concerns within Porsche AG, forwarded to us.
We are in receipt that Porsche Centre Santiago de Chile checked your vehicle after your first attempt to repair it by a workshop outside of the Porsche network. It is our understanding that our colleagues have very carefully and thoroughly worked on your case and provided a detailed feedback on the state of the vehicle after it arrived at the Porsche Centre. Thus, we are glad to hear that after the necessary corrections, in order to assure that the engine runs well again, were performed purely on a goodwill basis without acceptance of liability on 17 January 2020 and that your vehicle is back on the road again.
Unfortunately, we have to advise you that under consideration of all the facts, especially due to the engine repair by a non-official Porsche dealer, we kindly ask for your understanding that we are not in the position to reimburse any works (material and/or labour costs) conducted by a workshop outside of the Porsche network.
Whilst we appreciate that this will be met with disappointment, regrettably on this occasion, we are unable to meet your expectations.
In closing, may we thank you for taking the time to contact Porsche directly.
Yours sincerely

Thanks for the prompt feedback.
Do you have the email of the Customer Interaction/Matthias Murkisch at Porsche please?
The dealers here say they may do a "goodwill repair"but it is at their discretion depending on a range of factors.
They advised to contact Porsche Germany.

Ok, I still don't understand the statement but I guess that "all the expenses of the repair" are not financed by you.
Glad to see you got it worked out.
