Exclamation 958-551-769-00-DC5

So I ordered the black reversible genuine Porsche trunk mat for use with the cargo managment system from my local dealer
958-551-769-00-DC5
shipped from Germany but it only took like two weeks to get to California

$280 USD (that is out the door price with CA tax)
crazy price for this narrow mat? of course yes! but whatever. I looked at all the aftermarket options but in the end decided on the original one as it works for me.
I snapped a few photos as I never really found any good ones so I was not 100% sure what was going to show up.

carpet side up

mat is reversible

rubber mat side up

full size spare with cargo managment system

I bought the wider version of that same mat before I installed the organization system, and was bummed when I realized it covered the rails... I took it to a local upholstery shop to see if they could trim it and sew new piping along the edge, but they didn't have the necessary machinery to be able to do that sort of work, but told me it appeared to be fused together, and not two separate pieces... So, when I got home I trimmed it down to fit, and it works like a champ.

It's a great mat, and mostly waterproof, but if any liquid gets to the area where the velcro strip is, it will leak through where that strip is stitched through to the other side.

Edit: Actually it doesn't look like yours has that velcro strip.. Did it come with another piece that hangs-over the bumper to protect it during loading?

no Velcro strip
no extra piece that hands over the bumper
only the narrow mat!
