Default Aftermarket Warranty Options on CD - WWYD?

Need a little advice here. My sister has three aftermarket warranty options available on her CD ('14 with 60k miles). These are 3 year/36k mile plans.

Fidelity Platinum at $4675 ($500 deductible)
Fidelity Platinum at $5690 ($250 deductible)
CNA Preferred Care Plus at $4405 ($200 deductible)

These are all exclusionary type policies. Both companies seem to have good reviews but some say the CNA won't pay full labor rates or labor hours on some jobs. We know about the 10 year warranty on the engine, turbo, emissions, etc, but it's hard to guess at where the rest of the failure points will be on a CD. Dealer says PCM craps out often ($3,800 to replace) and that her air suspension is likely to start leaking by 80k miles. True? I dunno.

What policy would you get? Or would you get none of these?

Have you checked the price with that guy who sells the Fidelity warranties at 5% over his cost?
The only decent warranty company, meaning with a good reputation on Porsche forums anyway - is Fidelity.

I think you are referring to Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors. I did get a quote from him but found the Rebecca Kunz at Midlothian BMW was even better on the price.

Did you compare what these aftermarket warranties offer compared to the 2 yr/100K extension on the new CD warranty along with the emissions powertrain 10 year/120K mile warranty?

And is there a CPO on there, too?

my PCM was replaced early within 20k (previous owner), if it went out again I would consider the aftermarket one with Apple Carplay, I believe the part is under $1k + install?
i have heard similar stories about the air suspension, hence why I passed on it when shopping for one. your warranty might simply be a pre-pay on that issue alone, so it might pay for the warranty. as always these are a gamble

one question, are these prices for the warranties the same for the non-diesel models ?

I would think there would be some sort of discount for the diesel model, as practically all of them are covered by a factory warranty for another couple years for "some" things.

I thought that too but no. The 10 year factory warranty on the engine, emission, etc is irreverent to the price.

it is a exclusionary type warranty, oddly (& sadly) does not account for the diesel
less risk should equal less cost. it might be worth pushing back a bit on this... if not today maybe someday they will account for that
