What was the tutorial you found? There are writeups in our DIY forum for this type of brake (called "radially mounted")
And are you really Kaïzer Söze?

Alldatadiy has a good article about removing the calipers, warmly recommended. The brake lines are solid so be careful no to damage them, you have to unclip them from the wheel carrier and it's best to use a special set of pins to guide the calipers after unbolting them (assembly pins T10439).

So I subscribed to alldatadiy and the tutorial seems good.
I need to track down a triple square socket set locally or order one on Amazon. Does anyone know if the drive being hollow is an issue? Some of the larger sizes are hollow on most sets.
Also can someone tell me if the Bosch pads below are proper fitment for these calipers?
Thanks
Eric

Eric - it must have gotten approved because I can see it. Dunno - were these pads listed for the silver caliper on 958 Cayennes? If so - then probably are. Bosch aren't awful. I'm using TRW's on my CTT, but mostly because I got a box-opened set from Amazon for around $30. That was when the CTT ones were about $200/wheel from Porsche (they've since dropped in price.)

yes, FMSI 1349 is the standard for the front brakes. 1453 is the rears. Different manufacturers incorporate the numbers differently in their catalog. These are the centric posi quiet pads for the diesel,
