I have 2016 Cayenne GTS . Really enjoy the car. Has always been missing that little extra something. I've searched around for tuning options and really haven't found anything other than the plug in piggy back option... not my thing... I have had all my cars tuned for years and really enjoy the added performance so I have some experience spending hard earned money here. .
Anyways .. I have been "suggesting" (bitching) to my friends at Excell Auto Sport (Boca Raton) that they need to stop focusing on all the Ferraris, Maclarens and Lambos and work on something for our daily drivers.... They are good listeners but very busy so I wasn't expecting anything anytime soon. lol...... Dropped my Cayenne off for and alignment and oil change and they surprised me with a tuned Cayenne 958.2.Friday afternoon Wow... best surprise ever for a car guy...So much fun to drive now!!!
I'll get some details from Jay and Rob had so much fun didn't have time to ask all the detail but...... didn't touch the Mclaren all weekend!!
Jpru- The tune was written and car dyno tested "in-house". It was a hot day down here today and I got on her a bit. Stays cool. Love when that boost hits !!!
Great looking GTS! I would reach out to Rob or Jay directly . they can discuss their methodology behind a tune so I don't put my foot in my mouth. I do know they want to do a final "dial in" with the car. Now that I have had a chance to drive it they will adjust any areas accordingly. On the Mclaren I liked it popping and cracking with some nice fire shots. Obviously with the daily that would grow tiresome. But some crisp pops when in sport exhaust would be nice. Don't see an .avi. Am I missing something? Also have a 2016 GTS and would love to know more about the tune and see any video associated with it. Thanks!
PCG. I'm new on this board. Will try and put vid up today . I have been frustrated for years that I couldn't find anything. Will only be in-car. they surprised me so no Vids on Dyno. Will do that next run . The car is a blast to drive.
