Dealer says their service department uses a Porsche grease with Part No. 958562900-01 specifically for sunroof lubrication for Cayennes upto MY2016 (C$75 for a 150ml tube!). They couldn't tell me much more about what kind of grease it is. Only one hit in Google search for this Part No. and it doesn't reveal much.

Any ideas out there?

only up to MY2016? That's odd.. I don't know what changed for the '16 and '17 MY, at least in the Cayenne!

Pelican Parts has it available for ~$50 but that still seems really high. What's actually being lubricated? If it's the seal then I'd think Gummi Pflege, which is a whole lot less expensive, would work.

Used to be a service advisor for Honda, years ago. That is the grease they use and does exactly what you need for a whole lot less $.
