I'm gonna guess you actually mean "Red airbag light is on"..
Where are you reading this code? Does the tool reading it have any further explanation?
As far as the cause - you might want to make certain all the connectors underneath the passenger's seat are fully seated and latches engaged. That seems to be the most common cause of airbag errors.
