Cayenne coupe, who is a buyer/trader for it?

I like it. If I did not need to seat growing kids and the space behind the seat to take all the stuff we take with us from place to place, I'd consider one as the body looks great.
Who is in for one?
I did think that it would be a 2-door Cayenne, not a lowered roofline version of our Cayenne's.

Since the VW group is already selling Audi Q8, just rebadge it as a Porsche too.
Of course, it is not like when GM used/is doing among its various brands, but it is starting to feel so

based on initial pics, its a possibility. We are on our second Cayenne and my wife had been thinking Macan next, as I don't race anymore and don't need to tow, but when she saw the coupe last night, she was definitely interested. Will have to see it in person though. Probably going to do the diesel fix in December and order its replacement while we are at the dealership.

Not me. I just can't see where it offers any advantage over my Cayenne. If I wanted a "sedan" type car then I would be looking at the Panamera. And finally I just can't make my mind process a 4-door Coupe -- just seems like an oxymoron !

Not in the least, won't be much lighter if at all compared to the Cayenne, it's uglier in my opinion. It's a taller fatter version of what the Macan is and the Macan will handle better due to it being lower and lighter.

Having seen one in person (at the grand opening of Roger Penske's new Porsche-Monmouth, NJ dealership Weds evening.. (Roger was there with a 918 and a GT3, and the chief honcho at Porsche Cars NA..) it's not ugly - just sort of "me too!" after seeing the BMW and Mercedes "coupe" SUV's. I"m guessing the reveal at the new dealership was probably the first in the US..

right now we are in sun valley for our annual ski trip. we don't take too much in the way of luggage and the skiis are packed inside with one back seat down.three people in the car. point is the cayenne really does not have that much space , the new "coupe " design will hold even less. i still prefer the looks of the (lowered ) normal cayenne .

They also have it up on the website where you can build it, two new wheels are available for it, the 22" RS Spyders (same as 21 in design but bigger) and some GT Design wheels that look very similar to GT3/GT3 rs wheels. I kinda like those.

As I am getting ready to load the Cayenne for the trip home after spending 3 months in the warmer climate I just don't see how the loss of space is something that is desirable. Also don't want anything larger as it would mean hauling more stuff.

Jury is still out for me, likely if I wanted something smaller I'd option out a really nice Macan and end up better off in the pocketbook. The SEH we have is great as is for now (can fit the 3 kids if needed, and some luggage) I'd need to see them all side by side first to make a decision. When I was in for annual service and a few other things a few weeks back they gave me a really nice well optioned Panamera 4S loaner ($130k sticker). It was a fun car, and maybe longer down the road we might end up going that direction. Wife and I had some fun with that car for 2 days. Though might be until one kid goes to college (so we only need 4 seats).

Not for us. The dog would not be happy, as he rides back there and it would defintely cramp his space. The Cayenne is also my wife's primary hunting vehicle, and we need the extra room.
