Default Anyone found reasonably priced 390mm Turbo brake rotors?

Mine (original AFAIK) are starting to look worn enough that I'm thinking of replacing them sometime in the near future. When I last did pads I priced the rotors - and they were around $500/each and all that was available was Porsche rotors - so the old ones stayed on (still within wear limits). Next change will require new rotors so I figured I'd get a head-start on finding some.

Anyone found a deal on 390mm rotors?

TIA!

Don, I'm sure this probably isn't the best deal out there, but genuine Porsche front rotors aren't $500 each anymore apparently. There's this front set from Suncoast.... https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PKTT958SFSR.html

They can be had for $210.62 each at Sonnen Porsche. That's $420 for the set.
I also have a take off set that you can have for free. I'll mic them but they only went through one set of pads and are still good to go. Res yet, california car so no rust on them.

Might you have a link for the Sonnen deal? It seems as if they are now PorscheMarin - and I couldn't find any easy way on the website to look for parts..

TIA!

Hmmm... searching found them for $217.88/each at www.getporscheparts.com - with free shipping. What a difference from 3 years ago when they were about $500/each.

Thanks for the info, I need four wheel pads and rotors for my CTT and was wondering if I required 390mm or 360mm. I'm beginning to look at prices and figured I would pay about $1,500 shipped. I will also replace the sensors. Would you recommend OEM pads or aftermarket such as Hawk? This thread is good news.

I am contemplating Bosch quiet cast pads this time around for fronts. OEM screeches so loud I cant drive with the windows down. Tried TRW, had slight improvement but it was still problematic. Used posi-quiet, which had no screeching but noticeably diminished performance. The Bosch quiet cast is semi-metallic so I am hopeful it will have decent performance with no noise. Anyone used this?

Which Pagid pads? Hella? Yellow? Do you notice more or less brake dust? Thanks.

I just did front pads and rotors with OEM parts from Suncoast. Never had a squeal on the original pads, nor on the new ones.... Was down to the sensors on the front, have to say the new pads and rotors make a difference in brake feel and probably performance.

Weird. I have been through 2 sets of OEM. Both squealed.

If you don't change your hardware with the pad and rotor change, you're more likely to get squeal

What hardware? They squealed right off the lot.
