Default Gear grinding noise. But only at cold start up

2012 CTT with 34k. TC fluid changed around 1000 miles ago.

Bought the car about a month ago. Noticed a quick and low sounding grind upon the first turn out of garage in the morning and then it’s gone for the rest of the day. Happened after fluid change too. Thoughts?

Does it have PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring) - aka - computer controlled limited slip rear-axle?

your comment was enough to get me going down a search path and I see where it might be stemming from now...rear diff. I’ll try a fluid change. Hopefully that prolongs the worst outcome.
