Default Bluespark Update

I installed a box in my 16, purchased the box in April. Was told it had a latest tune

Found it laggy and lots of knocking at low throttle settings.

Same with wife's 13 CD.

Working with Edd at BS to fix.

I just received back from BS earlier this week my two blue sparks devices, one is an older pro and the second is a new pro +boost
both have been updated with new maps
i only have driven the pro+boost , the new map is big improvement
thus far no more hesitation and heavy knocking from a stand still under light throttle everything seems to be much smoother also picked up about 2 mpg

my wifes 2016 Cd , she said the pro seems to have similar results
will give more feedback as I log more miles on both.

side note BS did the upgrade free of charge only had to pay for postage to them. They were very responsive and stood behind their product
so no complaints here thus far

good report

My wife's 2013 CD with BS started detonation after dieselgate reflash, was great before , but now detonates at 1/8 to 1/4 throttle and low loads, say 0-2000 RPM

My 2016 CD with BS April 2018 edition detonates at 1/8 to 1/4 throttle and low loads, say 0-2000 RPM.

Working with Edd at BS to fix issue

What settings are you using for pro boost on your wife's 2013? I was in the same boat with my 2013 post fix. Will arrange to ship mine back for remap.

I have logged over 1000 miles thus far on the pro +boost, my results have been much improved first gas mileage has improved dramatically and continues to get better yesterday drove 400 miles on i 90 had the cruise set at 78 mph was getting 35.6 mpg best I have ever done since owning it new before best I could achieve was around 30 mpg
power and tq improved but would not say it’s a game changer , for me mpg is huge since I drive 40k per year

the BS tune has performed excellent in the warmer weather which recently showed up in the northeast. I have noticed that on the few colder days we have had 50 degrees or so the car occasionally had a minor stutter / increased motor noise when cruising at 40-50 mph applying light throttle, but nothing like before nor does it occur from a stand still

also felt the new map works best w the sport mode on

as for the pro in my wifes car seems to be getting very similar results

overall very pleased with BS
