Default Sourcing a part for the retractable cargo cover

Hi All,

My cargo/trunk cover is missing one of the "pins" at the end which hook on to the inside of the trunk, meaning that when I pull it out it I'm no longer able to clip it on.
The left hand side equivalent part number is 9918010021 / PA6GE30 but I need the right hand side version.

I contacted Porsche service but they said I would have to order a whole new cargo cover.

Anyone have any ideas if I can order this part separately anywhere?

Thanks in advance

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum!

The right side one is spring loaded and locking. Wonder how that went missing.. I find no real reference for 9918010021 - so I'd have to guess it's an internal part# from whoever made the shade for Porsche. As far as I know - Porsche service was being accurate with you - there are no parts available for the shade.

Your best bet is to check the classifieds here and perhaps join so you can view them and post in them - and post a WTB. Lots of people pull the shade assembly out and store it in the hall closet where it remains well after the vehicle was turned in off lease. Chances are you can find a good used one - probably for less $$ than finding that part if it was available.

Wasn't there someone here a few weeks ago looking to unload a couple of them?

I accidentally kept the cover from my wife’s 2012 when I traded it in a few months back, whoops. I think I still have it in storage, I can check this Sunday. If I do, you can have the whole thing for free to use for parts. I do want to point out that it is beige. Let me know.

it is awesome to see a fellow 958 owner helping another 958 owner. Like this forum.
