Paint shop found the tow hook cover. Put it back on today. So he said let the paint cure some and if there is anything (drips, orange peel etc) he will fix it. Paint actually looks nicely done and matched/blended well. Next month the dual exhaust tips in gloss black. Would love to get a throatier sound from the Pig though. I like the Maserati exhaust sound. Car is off to the dealer for a couple of recall fixes on Friday and Sunday off to the club detailer.
I am searching the list about info on oil temperature. I have seen differing opinions on this. I will have the dealer check and get me some definitive info this week. My oil temp hovers around 221-224. Some say it should be the same as the water temp about 200. Maybe an oil cooler is needed? ?

Thanks guys, will do. Really enjoying the car. Will be going on another trip next week. Car is going to the dealer for recall work on Friday. They said they will give me a loaner so hopefully a CTT Looking forward to the CFOS coming up. I have a buyer for my 957 but I am not sure this is the guy for this car. He is a young man but doesn't know how to work on a car. With a PIG that want work unless you have a lot of money. Especially with a 957. When I talk to him about the car feels like I am trying to talk him out of buying the car.

Nice mods...anxious to see the tips! They're truly the best and cheapest mods you can make to the Cayenne!

I had my oil changed a month ago, checked the oil today and saw this:
Cayenne S 2012
Strange the shop didn't fill it up. Looks like I need about 3 quarts of oil?

Got it, read the manual. Now i have to find the motul oil the indie put in the car. Maybe I'll go back to him tomorrow and have him add the 3/4 Liter. Love my new rubber floor mats. Wonder if I can get similar for my 997.1?

Oil came in through Amazon today. Got the Motul oil the shop put in the car. I'll put about 3/4 or .25L in tomorrow. I do have another issue though. The outside temp seems to be stuck at 56 or 62 degrees. Now here in California it's not that cold. So when I get in the car in the morning or afternoon, (temp is always set to 69 degrees) I feel the heat coming out of the air vents. Could this be a broken or worn outside temp guage? I assume that sensor is in the front bumper.
