Steam cleaner is my new fav cleaning tool. Did 3 engine bays. Gives it a clean natural look, without all the shiny from chemicals. Works well and safe. Good at removing oil stains and stubborn areas.

Both steam cleaning and pressure washing in the engine bay are a bad idea. Steam cleaning has the water molecules moving much faster and they can get past seals and into places that even regular water can't, causing problems with electronics down the road.

Pressure washing can knock things loose and move rubber seals out of the way temporarily.
