My bad. I think I remember reading something somewhere about 911's pre 1999. But they were air cooled? Seriously. In the 80's and 90's they were still making air cooled cars! Look it up, it's true.

We all know all real Porsche's are water cooled.

This is the 993, thought by many to be the pinnacle of lawn grooming machinery.

OK - I have not really slept in 8 days so it takes a while for me to catch some stuff - but this may be the greatest subtle post of all time

Some of your replies to my post are amusing. I'm not full of myself because I can afford two new Porsche's. I work hard to afford nice things and I happen to like Porcshes.
When I pay good money for a service I expect to get it without excuses and careless oversight. Why anyone would buy beer, wine etc. to get the quality service they expect from the dealer is beside me.

There are numerous Porsche dealerships within an hour drive from my home that would love to get my business. Its PoP loss not mine.

The nearest dealer to me is Gossett at 2, or Moffitt at 3 hours away. We have had a great relationship w Gossett on our annual oil change visit. We would rather cooperate and coach the dealer we have than drive another hour to compete them against each other.

Particularly after this kind of thing, which does not happen here.

Concealed carry permit.

What I have a hard time understanding is the simple mistake cost no one time nor money??? It seems possible that the someone here has never made a mistake at work. We all make mistakes aren't we all human..??

I guess I need to hurry up and purchase my 991 so I can enjoy my status and maybe I will stop making mistakes at work..

Apparently two guards red P-cars isn't enough.....He's gotta stand out somehow and if misspelling the brand is how he's gotta do it then you better be ok with it.

It IS interesting though that this is one of the first times that it's been so obvious to me that a new 958 owner has come down to talk to the rest of us....Prior to this on the P!G threads it really hasn't mattered what you owned or what your buy-in level was everyone was pretty much speaking equally.

I hate it when people try to add to a perfect post, and I have been fighting the urge to correct this, but as an air cooled tractor guy I have to say that the above picture is not really the 993. That tractor is front engined and as all true car people know the 911 is rear engined. This is the real 993:
