Yeah, the GT3 has been the primary focus lately. Driving season is coming to a close. Just finished installing the Tech equip. roll bar(Very difficult) and Leather recaro GT3 seats(pretty easy). No problems with the Cayenne since the ABS sensor issue some months ago. What's all this stuff I hear about the DME being reprogrammed by the dealers to eliminate the hesitation or lurch??? Is this something I should do??? Is the hesitation a different issue than the lurch???
Do you still have the original squeaky brake pads??? Is it worth having them replaced??? And if so, is it a warranty item that the dealer is aware of via a TSB???Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Looks like there is a fix for the lurch/hesitation with eGas. I think my dealer here in Dallas finally has my brake parts and will install those (the squealing brake problem) along with the DME software upgrade. As far as I can tell, this is a warranty item for both fixes. We'll see....... Nice to have you back.

You know, one good thing about these doors is EVERY car had 'em, I wouldn't need to park out in the south forty to avoid door dings!!!
(hey, how would my Boxster look with 'em?) Just kidding

Speaking of ricers, I saw a modified Supra Turbo today with the rice exhaust (4" at least). Now that might actually be pretty quick. I guess that's what you do when your serious about ricing .. er ... I mean ... ah ... racing.
