Front Park Assist sensors no good in winter
We got our first snow storm on Long Island on Saturday and my entire front bumper has been covered in ice/snow since then. As a result, the Park Assist sensors think that I'm running into an object and will beep constantly at every stop. I'm not sure where the sensors are located so I can't clean of the area in front of them. I've disabled Park Assist to stop the beeping.
Is this an issue for most people or do I have an overly sensitive car?

The car wash I go to dries the car after washing it.. including door sills/seals, rear hatch - most of the areas where cold weather might cause a problem. And that's after drying it with hot air from a thing that sounds like a jet engine at full tilt..
What surprised me with the parking sensors is just how well they define objects. One parking space I pulled into had a plow-marker at the edge of the lot. A 1/4" diameter fiberglas rod pounded in the ground. The front sensors not only found it from about 10" away - as I pulled in they very accurately located it with an arrow shaped pattern on the sensor display. This is WAY better than I've ever seen on any other car.
