Default Passenger Heater Actuator

A little advice please for my 2006 Porsche Cayenne S Titanium Edition:
For the past month the heater is blowing cold air on the passenger side.
A/C works fine, fans work fine, drivers side blows hot when asked.
It doesn't throw any error codes onto the dash screen.
A little research says this is probably the heater actuator which will need to be replaced.
Access is gained by removing the glove box apparently.
Does anyone have any other thoughts or suggestions on testing this before I buy a new actuator?
Is there a walk through or video or diagram on how to remove the glove box to gain access?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My '13 does the same thing. I have to set the passenger side to high for it to equal the driver's side. Doesn't bother me but drives my wife crazy when she is with me. Please keep us posted on the fix.

Why do you think it would be a switch rather than whatever control system opens and closes the passenger heat door in the air handler? A lot of automated climate control systems use small vacuum actuators to operate the doors in the air handler that control how much air getting into the cabin is outside, heated, or cooled by the a/c. Flaps inside the air handler move in response to your changes to the temperature control settings. I'm not saying it couldn't BE a switch, it just doesn't seem as likely as a problem with the mechanism that controls the passenger heat control flap in the air handler. (whatever that mechanism is... I don't have any documentation so can't get very specific)
