Default heated steering wheel

My 2004 S had a heated steering wheel, which, unexpectedly, I really liked. The S, with its scored cylinders, is being sold in parts. I now have an 05 base model. Either the steering wheel is not heated or it is and doesn't work. Was it an option? I have a heated wheel available. Would it work with my base model? Thanks in advance ......

Everything on a Cayenne is an "option" - chances are the '05 didn't come with the heated wheel, and moving it from the '04 to the '05 will be more complex than simply swapping wheels. Typically there is some sort of controller and additional wiring involved.

Pretty sure it was only standard on the Turbo and Turbo S.
