Default Radiator Paint

Noticed the other day while looking through the air intakes in the bumper that my side radiators have several spots of chipped paint. Would like to spray them with black paint to restore the uniform look.

Is there a special paint that I should use? Would I have to remove the entire front bumper to get to the radiators? Thanks

these "radiators" are the intercoolers on your Turbo? Dunno if they'll work as well painted. I'd have to look at mine, but photos I've seen of them look like bare aluminum. Maybe it's different on an '09..

It's all about heat transfer. A brief statement on the subject and a source from a reputable company. http://www.eastwood.com/ew-radiator-...in-finish.html

Thanks for the info. Yeah looks like my intercoolers have a black finish that has chipped away.
