Are there any kits that sell the Coils and spark plugs together?

Burning Brakes
How difficult is this for a DIY? Any instructions available online?

It is easier to DIY than the hassle of taking the car to someone else to do it and then picking it up. Either way it is going to cost you an hour or two of your time. Might as well save the money and know it was done right. Also, this is the opportunity to examine and 'read' your spark plugs to see how healthy each cylinder is firing. It is a skill that people should know how to do if they consider themselves auto-enthusiasts and take interest in how their engine is running.

Thanks Nodoors and Dan87951! Wife's 08 CS is close to 90k miles. I will order the kit and get it done before it gets too cold here.
Dan - Can you share the Youtube video please?

Yeah! Thanks, Dan! I will use info from all the how-to and DIY videos that I can. I just purchased the coils, plugs and vacuum pump from Rennbay.
Does your videos apply to an 08 GTS, also?

No problem! I'm not very familiar with your GTS since I don't own one, but I would think they would be very similar to my 955. The obvious differences I see are with the valve cover beauty covers and secondary air pumps. Once you get past those, I'm sure its pretty much the same.

I did this yesterday. Much easier than I thought on the 08 Cayenne S. Couple of tips.
1. I removed the air filter box which makes it easier to remove the first screw (closest to the front of the vehicle). If I had a "L" shaped wrench or such, there would be no need to remove the airbox.
2. There is a little bolt that holds the wires to the engine (I circled it in the attached images). Removing that will make it easier to remove the cover. On the passenger side, just pop the clip that holds the coolant line.
The cover easily pops off once the 4 bolts are removed (see pic). On the passenger side, you will have to remove the bolt that holds the torque strut.
Something I noticed was all of the ignition coils I removed were cracked like the below pic I attached. The spark plugs all looked clean. Any reason why the ignition coils crack??
Cheers!
