Default Cayenne S w/ 20" Sport Technos

Here are some pics of my Cayenne before I sell the wheels. I am going to be switching to 20" Champions in the future.

Yes, please tell us what you don't like about your SportTechno's. They look good to me, albeit quite dirty....I bet they are much easier to clean than the 20" Cayenne Design wheels.

How much? (You could have cleaned them before the pictures!)

Default I looooove how they look

but although this may seem like a petty detail but, they were a bit heavy for me. kinda nulled out the work the BMC filters were doing. Those are old pics I will try to get them clean and take some more pics...

Are the BMC filters doing anything to begin with?

IMO the 20" turbo's look better in this vehicle

20" of any kind of metal will be heavy

I did notice the difference in terms of better throttle response, more low end grunt and lower operating tempertures on my Cayenne with the addition of the BMC filters. or maybe i installed them in the intermediate period where my Cayenne had just begun to be broken in. i didn't notice a difference in sound as some memebers have said (maybe on a different forum).

OVRSTR - here are my wheels on Ebay
i think the reserve is too high to be met though...

dfar - 20" or 18" turbos? I am replacing with a set of 20" that weigh less than the 18's

SorTurbo, I don't know if you posted the link in your above post but I'll check out e-bay later. I believe you first posted you were going with the Champion 20's. I saw them in Excellence magazine and I absolutely love them. I tried to go to Champion Porsche's website yesterday to see how they look mounted on the Cayenne, but their site was still under construction. Do you have any pics you can post and where did you get the weight info?

ebay link - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38662

the Sport Technos look GREAT in person. I like the Champion look too but have yet to see it in person here is a link to more info about the Champions - http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...&threadid=1942 can't find an email about the weights but I remeber them weighing about 25 or 26 pounds each. ask Steve (sporters78) more about them

Sorry!
I meant the 19" C Design. Anyway those Champion 20 look a lot better than any stock rim.

Not to highjack your thread, but have you put anymore thought into exhaust? I too was contemplating the Remus or Fabspeed though Fabspeed is whole cat back system. They have secondary cat removal pipes as well.

I leaning towards Remus.

The Champion forged (SAC-made) wheels actually weigh 24 lbs and look like this on the car.....

Default yeah those wheels are sooo nice

coveted by many, owned by few... haha, do they have a different width in the 20's or is the 20 by 9" the only size?

thanks

dfar - i only am considering the Fabspeed cat by pass pipes, the sport exhaust system seems too complicated for my mechanic skills...
there are some other exhausts here...
other exhausts...

ciao
