Hi fellow Cayenne owners, I have a 2004 CTT and the trunk or boot as we call it here from down under (australia) won't open when ever you press the outer handle...
I can only open it soon I press the handle from the Rear Glass Door and quickly same time you can open the trunk / boot.
The switch on the door to open the trunk / boot does not work either, I have checked the actual outer handle on the Trunk / Boot and its seems working the small switch located on the side. I have tried to replaced the switch on the door for the trunk / boot but it did not make any difference...

please help, where else for me to check... thank you!

 

Is your tailgate power-assisted or manually-operated? Are you referring to the actual operation of the rear tailgate or simple unlocking? Does your key remote function work for the tailgate?

the tailgate unlocks but then cannot open with the handle, it means soon i remotely open the tailgate then i have to quickly grab the tailgate to open same as when ever i press the rear window glass button at same time i have to hold the tailgate to open it...

i cannot open the tailgate just by pressing the actual handle switch to unlock the locking mechanism... and the tailgate switch on the drivers door not working either. maybe it something to do a relay or module but dont know where that is...
