Will these driver door switches for '06 Cayenne work?
I got a door from ebay that matches my interior (black) of my '06 CTTS. It came with an additional set of switches for the trunk release and for the fuel door release.
See attached picture.
Anyone know if these switches will be functional if I plug them into the existing door wiring grommet?
Thanks!

To open:
Fuel door: turn off key, walk around car, and press fuel door in to open. Passenger can also exit while driver stays in car.
Trunk: turn off key, open driver's door, press the unlock button on the driver's door lock/unlock switch. Trunk switch can now be opened with the button above license plate.

The switches won't do anything at all for you.
Your trunk isn't a powered tailgate - the switch will control exactly nothing.
Your fuel door already unlocks when you put the key in the ignition. It is not a power fuel door, nor does it need a switch to unlock it since when you put the key in the ignition it's already unlocked.
Useless. And I doubt if there is a plug/cable in your door that you could plug them into. Porsche doesn't build things and just leave the switches off..

If the old timers can remember, the old '70's Chryslers, Plymouths and Dodges all had the wiring and plugs tucked behind the door panels and dashboards for accessories that the car didn't come with.

Ahhhh...bummer. Thanks for the feedback.
It'd be really nice to open the trunk without having to first open the driver's door and then have to press unlock on the door switch. Tried even pressing unlock on the door switch without opening the driver's door, but that alone doesn't work either.

Check your settings on the cluster under Locking. Pretty sure there is a feature that unlocks all doors and hatch when the car stops. I rarely use the door card switch for the trunk, but I've always used that switch for the fuel door. It pops it open for me. Never tried just pushing on the door to see what happens.
