Ugghhh another stop sale on new Cayennes
Just released a few days ago that there is a stop sale on ALL 2016 Cayennes. Problem is said to be a small switch under the pedals. Somewhat vague internal email but hope it will get resolved quickly!

"
PAG has determined that a circlip on the bearing bracket for the pedals on certain Cayenne vehicles, may have become detached from its locking position as a result of pre-assembly processes carried out by a supplier. In the case of a detached circlip, the bearing pin bracket can impair brake actuation.
Effective immediately, vehicles must not be delivered to customers until the required remedial measure has been carried out. PCNA will provide a provisional inspection instruction along with other details for this action as they become available."

The local dealer got word late last night I am told and is hoping it will be a quick inspection and they are presently waiting for PCNA to tell them what to do.
I guess some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed!

Anyone have more details on this issue and where to look for this clip?
Got a notice from Porsche yesterday of a recall for it and it says all 958s (11-16) are included (mine is a 13). By the wording of the letter its either you have the clip and all is good or it's missing and you need one. I'd like to avoid a trip to the dealer if it can be avoided especially since it sounds like something I can at least check on myself.
