I have a 2015 Cayenne S PDCC,PTV Air Susp. I consider it my winter 911. Fun and amazing till the roads are dry and salt free and I take out my 2012 997 S Wahoo now I remember what a real sports car is.
They are both a hoot in there own way. You really need one of each if you can swing it.

Been through four 955 Cayennes over the last 13 years and have just bought my first 911, a 2001 996 Carrera 4. Great little car. Kids will enjoy when convertible weather returns.

I just bought into the Cayenne brotherhood with a CPO'd 2012 Cayenne S in Meteor Gray as my new winter DD..... this gives me the trifecta of P Cars:
1968 911L
2012 Cayenne S
2010 Carerra 4S Cab
All 3 are VERY different driving experiences and VERY different cars, but each has it's own particular "Porsche Experience"

We have a 997 Turbo, a 2005 Cayenne Turbo and just bought a 2012 Cayenne Turbo a couple of days ago.
The 911 is awesome for fun spirited drives, but not the best for long trips. Our 2005 Cayenne has been a perfect car as well. Great performance and perfect mid-sized SUV. We addressed the known issues of Coil packs, coolant pipes, carden shaft). Other than that its been perfect.

RedRaider1 - VERY nice combination of P cars!! Love the matching 997 & 958 Turbo's in black.
.. You should setup a pic of one towing the other! (post # 72)
.. I also love the aero kit (Sport Pkg) on a regular Turbo. Funny to have so many P people say that they love my "GTS",... only to notice it's a Turbo.
meanwhile, since this feels like a pic-posting-thread,... I'll throw a couple more into the mix. This was last weekend at Kiptopeke State Park, VA (at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay)...
and then the "other" one too...

I added a 957GTS to the hoard last summer & its a truly fantastic SUV in so many categories. I went with a 957 because I preferred the aesthetics, but since owning mine the 958 has grown on me - particularly with the sport package (still not liking the taillights!), so I may switch in the spring.
Unfortunately the Cayenne doesn't get a space in the home garage....
