Default TPMS with aftermarket wheels?

Hi Guys,

Just took ownership over my 06 CTT and it has 22" Porsche wheels. Car has an alert that monitoring is off, which is the TPMS. I know I can turn it back on but does it work with 22" aftermarket wheels?

Thx in advance

It will work with any wheels so long as they have compatible TPMS sensors.

Yes it should work. Whenever I swapped my 21" Porsche OEM wheels for a set of 20" Savini's, I put new TPMS sensors in the Savini's and on the instrument cluster I changed the wheel setting to 20". The system then scans for TPMS and after driving about 2 miles the TPMS system was working again and this was with generic TPMS sensors in the aftermarket wheels. You shouldn't have any problems as long as you tell the system to learn the TPMS again.
