955 weird seat behavior
I had my dash apart the other day to change my cluster speaker. While working on the trim removal, I accidentally bumped the seat adjustments, which i think may have something to do with the strange seat behavior I've seen since then. The weird behavior is that every time I switch the key in the off position (I have PED btw), the seat back slightly reclines, and I mean very slight. Bottom of seat also moves back just a tad. When I switch the key in on position, the seat appears to go into the position as set in my setting 1.
Before the cluster removal, my seat never exhibited this behavior. It would always stay perfectly fixed in position. Does anyone know what happened here? How can I reset everything so that the seat no longer moves when I take the key out? I disconnected the battery hoping it would reset, but no luck. It almost seems like the car is stuck in a algorithmic cycle--a bug of some sort? Such an annoyance!

You may have set something with the key and seat location. Try this: Get seat and back and wheel into position you want, then follow below which is a post from somewhere else on the forum..,
"Press and release Set button. Immediately, press and hold the number you want programmed. Hold until you hear the chime (may take up to ten seconds). Make sure the car is running. To program that position to the Key, shut the car off, withdraw the key, and within 10 seconds of doing this, press and hold the Set button for up to ten seconds until you hear the chime. Now, anytime you unlock the doors, the mirrors, steering column (if yours is electric), seats, and seat belts will adjust to that position."

Check the button on the right side of the steering wheel next to the steering wheel adjustment switch. When depressed it caused the seat and steering wheel to move up and down to allow easier entry and exit.

I'll check this out during lunch. I didn't know there was another button beside the steering adjustment next to the steering wheel. If there isn't a button, I'll try Lionworks Auto suggestion to reprogram the seat.

I found this thread interesting (for 955's). I had not known we could switch this feature on/off.
But for those with 958's, and who might be searching for this information, I'll add this info...
(Note: this switch on the side of 958 steering wheel does not exist)
The feature in 958 is called "Comfort Entry".
To turn Comfort Entry on/off...
On your Multi Purpose Display Gauge:
1) Select "Vehicle"
.... > "Settings"
.......... > "Locking"
2) Select "Comfort Entry"
3) Confirm Selection:
....... - Comfort Entry is Activated
....... - Comfort Entry is Deactivated
Personally I love it when I open the door, and the seat moves back slightly, and the steering wheel moves up slightly.
I am not a big guy (185lbs, 6'), but it makes it so nice & easy to get in & out. I will leave it ON.
