New here - thoughts on this 2011 Turbo
New here so please be gentle. I'm in the market for 2011-2013 Turbo in the So. Cal. area and upon my search at CarMax and on Autotrader, I bumped into this 2011 with 29K miles, clean Carfax, and 1-owner. It has an ONYX Concepts Bodykit and wheels (which I admittedly think looks rather cool and different). The price still seems high and I would really appreciate thoughts/feedback from experienced folks on this site as I pin my search down to the right vehicle. This would not be a daily driver for me (as I commute around in a Chevy Volt due to LA traffic)... something to enjoy on the weekends.
Also thinking about warranty (CarMax vs. 3rd Party).
Thanks in advance!

It's all personal opinion, of course, but I deduct for mods such as this one. But if it's something you would spend money on anyhow after buying a stock one, maybe it's worth it. Only you can decide.

A matter of personal taste.
If you are looking for a warranty your best option is a Porsche CPO. Aftermarket warranties are a false sense of security IMO. When I was researching warranties most would not cover Turbo models. They excluded many of the parts that typically fail on a NA Cayenne.
Same story with Carmax, they market a third party warranty contract. Google complaints about their coverage.
A better option is to hold the warranty premium in reserve and self insure. Depending on the year you can expect to spend about $1K/yr for repairs. Speaking from personal experience it was 1.2K/yr for a CS that was 5 model years old when purchased.

With that aftermarket kit they should mark it down 20k from normal list.
Paying extra for someones unique style is long term $$$. You hit a curb? Good luck fixing that, you will find the manufacture no longer makes it, etc. Insurance will not cover a body kit, etc.

That is a hideous look. It looks like it should be in Batman. Might be cool for the caped crusader on the big screen, but no way that's an $80k car for a private party. Unless you really, really, really want to be Batman.

2011 CTT is an awesome truck. Not a fan of the kit, over the top for me. IMO $15-20K overpriced. I didn't see sport or Burmester options. I've bought several cars from Carmax and purchase their extended warranty every time. I've never had a problem. IMO, look for a nicely optioned unmolested 2011-2014 CTT or CTTS, you'll be much happier.

Not even sure what to say about this one... I agree with wrinkledpants, must be nice to have much more money than brains.
On that note, I'll sell you my 09 blacked out Cayenne Turbo S for $65k ? lol...
I paid 1/3 of that price for my 09 Turbo S, granted its older.... but I would take it over that awful body kit any day. Keep it simple...

That same dealer has a GTS with about the same mileage for $13,000 less. You may give up a few ponies (but not too many) and the GTS will hold its value a lot better than the "kitted" turbo. The savings would make for a robust self-warranty/maintenance fund. Just sayin'.....
