has any heard anything about people getting (or not getting) any discounts on new cayenne tt's these days? the dealers i have spoken with all insist that turbos are scarce enough that no discount is needed. agree?

I think discounts tend to be regional.

I found it difficult to get a discount in the West on the TT. I know of one person who received ~$2000 off a TT in So. Cal. However, a relative of mine was able to get a substantial ($7000+) discount on a well optioned S.

Dealers in the Midwest and on the East coast are giving fair discounts between $5000-$7000 on the TT. Some are even advertising their discounted Price.

Yep - $5k off in MA along with a generous allowance for a 2002 M3.
