Default Holding down donut spare

I have a threaded rod that is supposed to secure the collapsible spare in the wheel well. Problem is, there's nothing for it to thread into! There's clearly a bracket for this purpose, but no threaded hole. Can someone share a picture or part number?

Looks like the original (captive/riv/whatever) nut has fell out of there - maybe its still rolling around in the back

At a pinch a couple of tywraps joined together would secure it in place until you get the proper part

NINETY-THREE CENTS!? How am I supposed to afford that!?

Only thing rolling around back there was a 12V lighter cap.

From the quick look I had that part was also available in VW parts centres so that may be an option to get around the $11 delivery (which seems excessive)

I`ll leave you to argue about the $0.99 price tag with the VW parts guy....... :-)

I have tried to order nuts and bolts from Brumos before, and they tell you that they'll call you when it comes in but then don't. Because they never ordered it. Because if it isn't a new 911 turbo S, it isn't worth their time.
