Default Off-Road Photos

Here's a thread to post some off-road photos. Took my Cayenne off-road for the first time today for a little recon mission prior to duck hunting season. Fairly easy terrain: flat, soft sand along the shores of Lake Huron. This is lake bottom that had 2 feet of water a few years back. More off-road photos to be posted as the season progresses!

wabbits? Who'd want to shoot those things? Now those evil ducks - that's another story ...... duck season opens in 5 days. Should have some 'interesting' photos sometime next week.

Here's one of me in Big Bend National Park. Some of you may have seen this previously on RennTeam. If so, I apologize for the repeat but I think it is a good off-road action shot of the Cayenne.

Great pics.

I took mine out to our ranch again last weekend. I hosted 18 guys for a 3 day dove hunt. Put about 300 miles on it off-road. Had to deliver beverages and shells to the guys in this big 60 acre muddy field. Cayenne only got peppered (no pun intended) once. No damage done, but mud everywhere. Took it in to Boardwalk Porshe the day after I got back for the transmission thermostat service, and everyone at the dealership came out to the service drive to see the "muddy Cayenne". Later, my service advisor told me that they had to wash it 3 times to get all the mud off.

Gary,

Do you hunt? I think you could probably get out to our ranch in less than 3 hours from Austin. I have a buddy who drives up from San Antonio (straight up 281 to Lampassas, then on 183 all the way to Breckenridge, Tx.) and it only takes him 4 hours. Maybe we can make a group run out to the ranch one weekend to go wheeling. There are at least 3 in Dallas that would go.

Now there's an offer that's too good to pass up. Count me in. Just don't schedule it for this weekend as I'm in Indy watching the F1 and Supercup crowds from Section H!

EuroCarNut, If you get a group of Cayenne's together for a weekend of off roading please let me know I would like to come play. I have been thinking that something in the Texas Hill Country with some off roading involved would be fun to do with a group of Cayenne owners.

Scott,

I'll let you know when I put something together. It will probably be a month or so away. Just to warn you, Corpus is about 400 miles away (6 hour drive) from our ranch. However, that's about the same drive we make from Dallas to Bracketville (Del Rio area) to go deer hunting in south Texas, so it's not too bad.
