Default 06 CTTS New shoes and rear emblems after being rear ended

This is my 2006 CTTS. I was rear ended and I had to replace the tail gate. We purchased a new one from Porsche, painted then transitioned everything from the original to the new one.

In this process I also added new style script to the rear which makes the car look a little newer. I was never a fan of the larger cursive lettering.

Then, I added the 22" wheels which I found used. These are in great shape and came with decent rubber on them as well. I only had to replace two of the 4 tires. One of the pics are the standard staggered 20" wheels. The car has also been lowered slightly with the drop links.

Let me know your thoughts. Just rolled 60k miles, all maintenance issues have been fixed and the car runs great! Some of the options include Pano roof, 4-zone climate control, privacy dual pane glass, etc.

Thanks for looking,
Bryan

Not a fan of the badging. Wheels look great, though.

It's one of the things I liked about the older Cayennes - they didn't say Porsche on the back. Much too busy for my taste.

I really like those wheels ... Good score used
I don't mind the PORSHE badging when it's by itself ... But to each is own... I also like the stance...I'm putting my badging on tomorrow and I just got my links and I'm adding satellite radio this weekend. While I'm here in Texas...
Great color as well... Really Nice over all

Just a thought you ever think of vinyl wrapping your silver trim... Like matte black or dark grey?

Thanks for the input guys.

I realize all styles are for some and not for others. What I didn't like was how large the "Cayenne Turbo S" script was on my 955. I ended op using the much smaller lettering for that same script and then the Porsche word. It is kind of like the new 911's and how they spell out all. Love it or hate it, I am happy with how it came out. i wouldn't wrap the silver trim, i like it!!

Thanks for comments on the wheels. They were a good find and were cheap... all things considered. Figured I would share how it came out.

I was in the rental car longer than I had owned the Cayenne before i was rear ended. Luckily, all I needed was a tailgate not the rear and a trailer hitch.

Thanks for looking.

Nice... That's the best thing making these fine vehicles our own with our own personal touches.

22" wheels are perfect size IMO for these.....they really give the truck a more 'meaty' look. Great job......how about a 3/4 shot from the rear, then we can see if you need to throw some spacers on !

Thanks!

tkrtape12, I thought about doing that and the below just spelling "turbo s" instead of including "cayenne" as well... Actually kind of thinking I should have done that now.

X98...I'm not one to tell you what to do,but I think that would look a bit cleaner...next for me Lowering Links and spacers..then wheels..something in a graphite grey to match my badging.

X98...did you put your links in yourself?

Links took 30 minutes to install and cost $125 on eBay... I can't see why I would do anything else when it was this easy.
