Dranon,
Please consider that some people on this forum work as suppliers to Porsche and therefore are aware of things that are not public knowledge.
Travel to Porsche for work and inside Zuffenhausen and Weissach you get access to certain things that others don't.
Regarding facelifts, auto makers usually plan one 'face lift' in the life of each new product line, as a means to extend the ROI of the initial tooling investments. The 997 is such a facelift to the 996 as a way to extend tooling and production until the 998 is released. The Cayenne is no different.
Of course, it's up to each individual what they chose to believe and how they classify such posts.
And Porsche can always change their minds depending on market conditions, economics and political battles within Porsche (remember the 989?).
BTW, I believe the correct spelling is "ridiculous" not 'rediculous", at least according to the spell check button at the bottom of the posts.

I was responding to the stretched 3 row version!
AND your statement was that they were making it NOT entertaining (thinking about, posibly exploring the idea) making it! You may have more access to Porsche than I do, I wont argue the point but I do get inside info!! I am german and have two friends who work at the factory...

What a jerk!! I jokingly have corrected some people on errors and got slammed, I hope you never spell anything wrong!!! At least I dont feel the need to spell check everything I write on what is supposed to be a friendly forum!! Lets just drop it here there are impressionable people on the board that will think what you say is GOSPEL!!

I can't imagine them building a pick-up and hope it will never happen, no matter how much new customers & money it would bring (I couldn't imagine them building SUV in a first place so what do I know?).
Anyway, is this the stretched version?
