Default WTB 04+ CTT <$20k

Looking for less than 100k miles, $13-$20k

Really want the tow package 1D6.
No pano roofs.
Prefer exterior colors other than black and gold.

Would pay a premium for an advanced offroad technology pacakage (if they actually exist).

Located in Jacksonville, FL, but will travel for the right deal.

Really need your help finding a good one with all the major things already taken care of!

Bump. Found one I like but it's at a dealer for $18k, which is too much.

Have you seen this one? Seems like a lot of car for that money considering the "low miles". 18k and 72k miles. I know its a little above your budget but you might be able to negotiate?

I also like the below one and it seems to have the "rare" optional rear mounted spare tire. Looks like a clean car and has fairly low miles 75k for $17.5k.

My intent was to buy the first one. They wouldn't take 16.5. I called yesterday to make another offer and it had sold.

The one in Indiana has been renn faxed by another forum member and has some problems. PSM / 4wd error lights are on, headlight lenses are shot, tail light is full of water, HVAC flapper valves in the dash are bad and making lots of racket. It also was in Chicago and other salty places its whole life. Furthermore, no tow kit so I have to drop $900 in parts right off the bat for that.

I was wondering about that second one. It has been for sale for a long time. I remember it being for sale when I bought mine last year. Now I know why! The good ones usually sell fast so its best to act on them quick. I was quite surprised how many people were willing to buy site unseen and actually lost out on a few good ones.

Yeah it also had failed coolant pipes that they replaced. A transmission gasket is probably due soon. I think the failed pipes is why it sold at auction back to back to back before someone fixed it. I offered them 13 to fly out and get it but they wouldn't bite.

I do like the rear mounted spare one in IN even if it is a little beat. Considering it's going to need a few grand in parts and a week of labor, what do you guys think is a fair offer? I was comfortable with $13 but they wouldn't accept.

There probably not going to accept anything reasonable. It's often best and cheaper to just buy a more sorted car. Sure you a pay a little more up front but in the long run you will come out ahead.

Still looking. I just sold my Suburban so it's time to start pulling the trigger. I think I'm more interested in getting a nicer newer/lower mileage one, up through 06 (but not a TTS) in the 15k+ range.

You would be paying a premium but looks like all the works been done already GL

Thanks for keeping an eye out, but I can't get a champagne-colored car until my AARP membership is approved.
