Default Porsche Noobie, Audi Groupie

Hello, everyone. First time Porsche owner. 2015 Cayenne Diesel, Meteor Grey, black interior. Replaces a 2009 Q7 TDI (hers) and joins in the garage a 2013 APR tuned Audi S6 (mine). Thank you for the wealth of information on this forum that helped guide me through the purchsing process. From favored options to expectations of discount off of MSRP, the data I gleaned from you all was invaluable.

I do not have pictures to share just yet as we did not take delivery today. I hope to have the vehicle later this week. Upon delivery it will go for a full detail and some nano-coating treatment. For MD/DC/VA people, I would welcome any recommendations for a a shop to do a 22PLE or Opti-Coat job.

Thanks again and I look forward to interacting with everyone.

Congrats and welcome! What were your "must-have" options?

It's to be the wife's DD and she drives a lot - 20k miles/yr - so she wanted the heated steering wheel, heated & ventilated seats, real time traffic info on the nav screen, Lane Change Assistant, and grey exterior with black interior. Kids wanted heated rear seats. I wanted the tow hitch, roof rails, and blacked out exterior trim. I also wanted PASM but could not find it on any dealer stocked vehicles in grey. We all got what we wanted (except for PASM) and then some: PPP, 19" Turbo wheels, gauges in white, 14 way seats, and infotainment package.

Before you do anything else, contact Raja. This is THE guy to go to in the MD/DC/VA area. Here's his email address.
paintprotectionfilmtek@gmail.com

I had two cars detailed by him, one was 7 years old and covered in neglect . The other had 21 miles on it when I dropped it off. I can't say enough good things about him! Google "Raja Ventureshield" and see for yourself.

Congrats on the purchase. I recently went from an Audi R8 to a Cayenne Turbo (long story) and actually found the Porsche to have better features, (though they also have a lot in common)... I'm sticking to Porsche now for the next fast car. I wonder if you will become a convert too...
