In case anybody ever has this issue, we had LED lights installed in all of the flood/landscaping lighting. Noticed that the Homelink on the Cayenne would not open the garage door at night (when the LED lights are on). Our BMW and Mercedes worked fine at night. Did some research and discovered that LED lights do emit a frequency that can interfer with garage door openers and such. Replaced the lights with a different brand of LED bulb and now the Cayenne opens the door with the LED's on.

So apparently this can be an issue with Porsche.

Had me stumped for a while, Google search turned up a lot of info on it, they can also block gates. Interesting that only our Porsche was affected though.

It took about 7 attempts and it finally took for me.
